Teaching - Cambridge is one of the best universities in the world - our teaching staff includes many national and world subject leaders; and as well as lectures, seminars and practicals, you receive more personal tuition through the supervision system
Facilities - You have access to wide-ranging learning resources and up-to-date facilities, including 114 libraries and nine specialist museums and collections.
Support - Our extensive system of welfare and support means that your individual needs can be recognised and met. As a result we have one of the lowest drop-out rates in the UK.
Careers - We have one of the highest graduate employment rates in the UK - the transferable skills you gain at Cambridge mean you're greatly sought after by employers whatever your degree subject
Settling in - To help you settle in there's there's a huge range of information, events and activities for new overseas undergraduates. For example:
  • International Student Team: the University's International Student Team runs an orientation programme at the start of each year to give basic information about the University and an opportunity to meet other international students
  • Publications: there is a variety of publications for overseas freshers, such as the A-Z for International Students and the International Freshers' Guide
  • CUSU International: CUSU International (part of Cambridge University Students' Union, CUSU), represents international students studying at Cambridge. The group welcomes new international students when they arrive in Cambridge and organises social events before freshers' week and throughout the year.
